Ole Miss suffered its first major injury of the spring season on Tuesday, when rising sophomore CB Jalen Julius fractured his left arm.

The defensive back, who played in all 12 games for the Rebels last season, is expected to miss about six weeks with the injury:

Julius had 21 tackles and one sack for the Rebels in 2016 and was expected to play a bigger role in 2017. How Hugh Freeze’s coaching staff decides to use him this fall is now in question as Julius will miss valuable spring practices.

Coming out of high school in 2015, Julius was a 3-star corner. The Florida native redshirted in 2015 before playing in every game last year.
