The Ole Miss Rebels got thoroughly outclassed by the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday night, losing 62-7 to the No. 1 team in the country.

Now, the news is getting even worse, as it turns out an already-thin secondary will be without a key player.

Per a report from Clarion-Ledger reporter Maddie Lee, DB Montrell Custis tore his ACL and will miss the rest of the 2018 season:

After serving as a reserve in 2016 and 2017, Custis had 10 tackles (one for a loss) and four passes defensed so far this season.

Now, he’ll have to endure a long rehab process and try to come back even stronger as a senior next fall.
