Ole Miss will be without tight end Michael Trigg going forward.

Kameron Wicker of The Rebel Walk reported that Trigg was not participating in Tuesday’s practice during the media viewing period. Michael Katz of the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal shared confirmation that Trigg is no longer a member of the Rebels. Trigg is no longer listed on Ole Miss’ online roster.

Trigg is in Year 3 of his college football career. A former 4-star prospect out of Tampa, Florida, Trigg signed with USC over 48 other scholarship offers. After spending his freshman season with the Trojans, Trigg followed Jaxson Dart to Ole Miss.

Last season, Trigg played in 7 games for the Rebels. He recorded 17 catches for 156 yards and 3 touchdowns.

This season, Trigg played in Ole Miss’ first 3 games but did not take part in the Alabama game. He logged 4 catches for 65 yards. Trigg caught a touchdown in Ole Miss’ 37-20 win at Tulane in Week 2.
