Ole Miss won’t let Penn State have anything in this 2nd half.

The Rebels lead the Nittany Lions 31-17 and have scored 11 straight, a field goal followed by a touchdown and good 2-point conversion. For as well as the Rebels have played defensively, Penn State has been able to drive the field fairly well. It’s just a matter of finishing.

And the Nittany Lions just can’t chip at the Rebels’ lead. They lined up to take a 51-yard field goal at the start of the 4th quarter, but DT Zxavian Harris came up with his 3rd blocked field goal of the season to keep the game at a 2-TD lead.

The Rebels are blasting into the new year. Ole Miss is well on its way to an 11-2 record in 2023, massive momentum heading into the 2024 season that looks to be special with an impressive haul of incoming transfers.

The list of newcomers is impressive and includes the following: Texas A&M’s Walter Nolen, Tennessee’s Tyler Baron, Arkansas’s Chris Paul, Florida’s Princely Umanmielen and South Carolina’s Juice Wells. And there’s plenty more.

For now, Ole Miss leads Penn State 38-17 following another touchdown by Jaxson Dart.
