The Ole Miss Rebels made a big jump this year under first-year head coach Kermit Davis, winning 20 games and advancing to the NCAA Tournament.

A big reason for that success was the backcourt trio of Breein Tyree, Terence Davis Jr. and Devontae Shuler, who were all great scorers.

Now it appears that Shuler, a sophomore, wants to try to capitalize on that success. Per college basketball insider Jon Rothstein, Shuler has declared for the 2019 NBA Draft:

Of course, with the NCAA rules, this doesn’t mean Shuler is officially leaving. He may just want to go through the pre-draft process and get a grade.

Shuler averaged 10.3 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game while starting 31 of 33 contests for the Rebels this year.
