The 2022 NFL Draft is quickly approaching, and the buildup to the big event will take place starting next month with the NFL Combine.

On Monday, Pro Football Focus analyst Trevor Sikkema released his updated Round 1 mock draft, and he included 11 SEC stars in the first 32 picks.

As you can see below, Sikkema has Alabama OL Evan Neal going with the first pick. Georgia leads the way with 3 players going in the first round:

  • No. 1 — Evan Neal, OL, Alabama — Jacksonville Jaguars
  • No. 6 — Charles Cross, OL, Mississippi State — Carolina Panthers
  • No. 8 — Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas — Atlanta Falcons
  • No. 11 — Matt Corral, QB, Ole Miss — Washington Football Team
  • No. 12 — Derek Stingley Jr., CB, LSU — Minnesota Vikings
  • No. 17 — Jordan Davis, DL, Georgia — Los Angeles Chargers
  • No. 18 — George Pickens, WR, Georgia — New Orleans Saints
  • No. 21 — Nakobe Dean, LB, Georgia — New England Patriots
  • No. 22 — Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama — Las Vegas Raiders
  • No. 24 — Kenyon Green, OL, Texas A&M — Dallas Cowboys
  • No. 27 — Roger McCreary, CB, Auburn — Tampa Bay Buccaneers

There’s still plenty of time before the draft for players outside the Round 1 mix to improve their stock and work their way up draft boards.

We’ll see who stands out at the Combine and at Pro Days around the country over the coming weeks.
