The SEC is known for producing some of the best linebackers in the country year after year, and 2018 promises to be no different.

Even after losing first rounders in Roquan Smith and Rashaan Evans, the conference is still stacked at the position, and that’s bad news for opposing offenses.

Recently, NFL.com analyst Lance Zierlein named the 13 best linebackers in the country for the 2018 season, and more than half of them came from the SEC. From No. 1 Devin White to No. 13 Jabari Zuniga, here’s how they stacked up:

  • No. 1 — Devin White, LSU
  • No. 2 — Mack Wilson, Alabama
  • No. 4 — D’Andre Walker, Georgia
  • No. 6 — Anfernee Jennings, Alabama
  • No. 7 — Josh Allen, Kentucky
  • No. 8 — Landis Durham, Texas A&M
  • No. 13 — Jabari Zuniga, Florida

White finished the 2017 season with 133 tackles, second only to Smith’s 137, but Smith and the Georgia Bulldogs played two more games than LSU.

White and the rest of this group should be dominant once again this fall, and they’ll be fun to watch.
