The latest Coaches Poll is out and the SEC has 6 teams ranked. Last week’s poll also included 6 conference teams.

The College Football Playoff selection committee rankings take front and center, but college football’s coaches get to weigh in with their own poll. The committee ranked Ohio State No. 1 ahead of Week 10. The Coaches, meanwhile, kept Georgia at No. 1 on Sunday.

UGA improved to 9-0 with a 30-21 win over a ranked Missouri team. Ohio State is also 9-0 after a 35-16 road victory over Rutgers. The Coaches are keeping the Buckeyes at No. 3.

The Coaches had Michigan at No. 2 entering Week 10, and did not move U-M after Jim Harbaugh’s squad took care of business. The Playoff committee ranks the Wolverines as the No. 3 team in the country.

The committee’s No. 4 is Florida State, same as the Coaches Poll. We’ll see if there’s any movement on Tuesday.

Washington, an undefeated team, is the odd team out right now. The Huskies are No. 5 in the CFP rankings and major polls.

A host of 1-loss teams are still in the Playoff picture. Texas, Oregon, Alabama, Penn State and Ole Miss are all hoping to play their way into the top 4. The new Coaches Poll includes Alabama at No. 8 and Ole Miss at No. 10.
