The latest Coaches Poll is out and the SEC has 7 teams. Last week’s poll also featured 7 teams, but there are some changes after the outcomes of Week 6.
Week 6 was a separation Saturday for the SEC’s division races. Georgia and Alabama are sole leaders as the conference’s only undefeated teams in SEC play, improving to 3-0 with key division wins.
The Bulldogs held onto their No. 1 ranking. UGA picked up its most impressive win of the season so far, blowing out a ranked Kentucky team 51-13 to improve to 6-0 overall and 3-0 in conference play. UK managed to stay ranked despite the lopsided loss.
Alabama is the SEC West’s only team without a conference loss. The Crimson Tide took care of business at Texas A&M to improve to 5-1. The Coaches kept UA at No. 10 in the updated poll.
