The latest Coaches Poll is out and the SEC has 6 teams ranked. Last week’s poll also featured 6 teams from the conference. There has been some shuffling in the poll after a wild Week 8.

Georgia was on a bye in Week 8. While Michigan continues to make a case for the top spot, UGA held onto No. 1 in the Week 9 poll. The Bulldogs are 7-0 heading into a rivalry matchup with Florida.

The SEC’s other division leader, Alabama, is now 7-1 on the season, with no conference losses. UA remains at No. 8 after winning the Third Saturday in October rivalry game against Tennessee. The Volunteers, meanwhile, dropped to No. 20.

Ole Miss, LSU and Mizzou were the other 3 SEC teams ranked in the Coaches Poll. They all picked up wins in Week 8 and moved up.
