The wait is finally over.

College GameDay announced its Week 10 location Monday afternoon. It will be attending Memphis, Tennessee, for the Tigers game against SMU. Memphis is ranked No. 24 in the nation, while SMU enters as the higher ranked team at No. 15. The Tigers suffered their only loss earlier this season to Temple.

So, that means that College GameDay is skipping SEC East showdown — and top 8 matchup — Florida vs. Georgia in Jacksonville. The winner of the Gators-Bulldogs matchup will likely advance to Atlanta for the SEC Championship.

However, it’s likely that College GameDay will come back to the SEC for Week 11 when LSU travels to Alabama, although Minnesota’s passionate pleas have been heard by Kirk Herbstreit.

The pregame show announced the news Monday afternoon on social media:

The nation’s most popular pregame show usually announces its location late Saturday night or early Sunday morning; however, it took until Monday afternoon to announce Memphis and work out the logistics. It takes several days for the pregame show’s trucks to setup shop on campuses.

This will mark the first time in the show’s history it will be broadcast live from Memphis.
