The complete New Year’s Six Bowl matchups and television broadcast schedule have been revealed for the 2023-24 bowl season.
On Sunday, the final College Football Playoff field was confirmed with Michigan vs. Alabama in the Rose Bowl and Washington vs. Texas in the Sugar Bowl. After that, the New Year’s Six schedule was released with a pair of Big Ten vs. SEC matchups.
Outside of the Playoff, the two conferences will also pit Ohio State vs. Mizzou and Ole Miss vs. Penn State in the postseason. That will provide an interesting glimpse at the two conferences coming out of 2023 and heading into the mammoth changes in store for 2024.
In the other New Year’s Six games, Georgia and Florida State will meet in the Orange Bowl between the two teams that were the first teams left out of the Playoff. Oregon also received a Fiesta Bowl matchup against Liberty, the highest-ranked Group of 5 representative to wrap up the season.
