Danny Kanell and Brady Quinn both believe No. 14 Missouri could give top-ranked Georgia a challenge this weekend.

In the end, however, both CBS college football analysts leaned towards the Bulldogs pulling it out.

During CBS Sports’ Week 10 college football picks, Quinn and Kanell selected Georgia as the ATS pick by 15.5 points.

“(Missouri) is probably Georgia’s best challenge before they face LSU (and others) in the coming weeks,” Quinn said.

Quinn praised Missouri’s weapons on offense, and “one of the top” defenses in the SEC. Junior quarterback Brady Cook leads the pack, while senior tailback Cody Schrader “runs the ball well.”

Last season, Quinn noted that the Tigers gave the Bulldogs “issues” in Columbia, despite Georgia pulling out a 26-22 win.

“It’s a different story now,” Quinn said. “Georgia has something to prove here.”

Kanell mentioned Georgia’s recent trend of a “schedule cakewalk.” That changed when the Bulldogs faced surprisingly ranked teams like Kentucky and Florida, and the potential of “tough outs,” Kanell added.

Georgia went on to defeat the Wildcats and Gators, and Kanell thinks “we’ll see the same” against Missouri.

One of the reasons for Kanell’s Georgia pick is junior QB Carson Beck.

“He’s making great decisions with the football, spreading it around,” Kanell said. “Their offensive line hasn’t been great, their run game hasn’t been spectacular but (Beck has) been able to shoulder more of the load.”

The Bulldogs and Tigers square off this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
