Pickett, from Tampa, Florida, plays for Zephyrhills High School. He’s listed at 6-2, 170 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Pickett is rated 5-stars, the No. 1 player in the state of Florida, No. 3 cornerback and No. 7 prospect overall in the Class of 2025.

It’s early in the 2025 recruiting cycle, but Pickett has already picked up 40 scholarship offers. In August, he included Florida, Florida State, South Carolina, Texas, Penn State, Texas A&M and Alabama in his top 13 teams.

LSU was able to recently get Pickett on campus for a visit. Pickett spent time with Corey Raymond, who had been recruiting him to Florida the past two seasons.

On Friday, Pickett indicated that he’s ready to figure out where he’ll play college football next year.
