Efe Abogidi, Washington State transfer big man, still considering 3 SEC teams

Efe Abogidi was a breakout big man for the Washington State Cougars this past season, helping the Cougars to an NIT berth.
After the season, though, Abogidi entered his name in the NCAA transfer portal, and it seems he’s intent on playing elsewhere in 2022-23.
Per college hoops insider Jon Rothstein, Abogidi is still considering 3 SEC teams — Mississippi State, Florida and Texas A&M — among his transfer options:
Washington State transfer Efe Abogidi tells me that he's now cut his list to the following programs:
Kansas State
Houston
Mississippi State
Oklahoma
Maryland
UCF
Florida
Wake Forest
Arizona
Marquette
Texas A&M
Texas— Jon Rothstein (@JonRothstein) April 20, 2022
Those 3 SEC schools will compete with Kansas State, Houston, Oklahoma, Maryland, UCF, Wake Forest, Arizona, Marquette and Texas for Abogidi’s services in 2022-23.
This past year, Abogidi appeared in 37 games for the Cougars, starting 29 of them. He averaged 8.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per contest.
