March Madness and the upcoming NFL Draft may have sports fans attention at the moment, but it’s never too early to look ahead to the 2019 season.

ESPN continues its focus on the preseason Top 25 by naming each team’s most dangerous player, or “game-breaker.” Clemson RB Travis Etienne leads things off at No. 1, but the SEC studs aren’t far behind.

Alabama, ranked No. 2 in ESPN’s preseason Top 25, has plenty of explosive weapons to chose from. ESPN’s Alex Scarborough goes with WR Jaylen Waddle.

“The Tide’s terrific trio of sophomore receivers — Jerry Jeudy, DeVonta Smith and Henry Ruggs III — garnered most of the attention last season, but don’t sleep on Waddle, who appeared to be shot out of a cannon any time he touched the ball as a true freshman (See: his 51-yard touchdown against Georgia in the SEC championship),” Scarborough writes. “The native Texan returned one punt for a touchdown, had 14 receptions of 20-plus yards and averaged 8.04 yards after catch.”

Following Waddle are some of the SEC’s best running backs and wide receivers, along with one stud defender:

  • No. 4 – Georgia RB D’Andre Swift
  • No. 8 – Florida ATH* Kadarius Toney
  • No. 11 – Texas A&M WR Kendrick Rogers
  • No. 12 – LSU S Grant Delpit
  • No. 23 – Auburn WR Seth Williams
