LOOK: Fans absolutely rip Jon Gruden, Raiders for surprise No. 4 overall pick

When the Oakland Raiders sent their scouts home last week and decided to trust only coach Jon Gruden and GM Mike Mayock for the 2019 NFL Draft, fans began wondering how the that duo would screw up the team’s three first-round picks.
It didn’t take long for that to happen, as the Raiders picked Clemson DE Clelin Ferrell with the No. 4 overall pick. Ferrell is a great player who made a huge impact for the Tigers, but no one had him going in the top five, and most didn’t even have him in the top 20.
Instead, he was chosen No. 4 overall, and fans couldn’t help but express their disbelief on Twitter. As you can see below, the reactions to the pick were not too kind to Gruden, Mayock and the Raiders:
Ferrell was an awful pick. How do you pass up Allen??? Right now the Gruden-Mayock thing is a failure. Should’ve kept the scouts in the building.

Go home Mayock. I mean Gruden. You're drunk. #NFLDraft

Gruden might could’ve gotten Ferrell at 24. This is fantastic.

Perhaps they’ll take a kicker and a punter with their other two first-round picks?
