Kirk Herbstreit, multiple ESPN personalities confirmed for EA Sports College Football 25
Kirk Herbstreit is officially in the game. The ESPN broadcaster will be part of the highly anticipated “EA Sports College Football 25” video game.
Herbstreit was among the media personalities who shared the news, formerly Twitter, on Thursday. Herbstreit’s ESPN colleagues Rece Davis, Chris Fowler, Jesse Palmer and Kevin Connors also confirmed their involvement.
I’m so excited to FINALLY announce that I’m part of @EASPORTSCollege. I’m proud to be a partner and one of the voices of the game once again – my 14th year in that role. #CFB25 #EAPartner https://t.co/zVKXxwtKw5

Herbstreit’s involvement comes as no surprise. The ESPN primetime broadcaster and College GameDay analyst has long advocated for the game’s return. Herbstreit claims that he and Joey Galloway logged more hours than anyone else on the old “NCAA Football” video game in their Ohio State games.
In one of the more notable announcements, David Pollack will also be featured in the game. A long-time ESPN broadcaster, Pollack was let go by the network in a round of layoffs and was missed by many fans during the 2023 season.
I’m in the Game! Go Dawgs! @EASPORTSCollege #CFB25 #EAPartner https://t.co/0L8QmETJAY

The announcements from Herbstreit, Pollack and others come on a big day for the game. EA Sports has confirmed that all 134 FBS schools are participating, and the player opt-in window has opened. The game is set for a summer release, with a full reveal in May.
