Lance Heard reportedly has multiple SEC visits planned as he considers his future.
The offensive tackle was the top player in LSU’s 2023 signing class and will leave the Bayou after just one season. The freshman tackle will visit with the Oklahoma Sooners and Tennessee Volunteers this weekend, per On3’s Pete Nakos.

Heard stands at 6-foot-6 and weighs 340 pounds. The tackle was originally a 5-star prospect per the 247Sports Composite ranking. Heard was rated as the No. 3 tackle prospect and the No. 15 overall prospect in the nation for the 2023 class.
The Sooners have brought in a couple of offensive linemen already. Spencer Brown was brought in from Michigan State and Febechi Nwaiwu was brought in from North Texas. The Vols, however, have not added any offensive linemen thus far for 2024. Gerald Mincey, a starter at right tackle, just announced that he will be transferring elsewhere.
