In a surprise twist, Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin found himself on the set of ESPN’s College GameDay Saturday as the celebrity guest picker.

Kiffin is coaching the 15th-ranked Rebels against the 11th-ranked Texas A&M Aggies Saturday evening, but pulled double-duty and offered some analysis during the pregame show. Of course he picked his own team to beat the Aggies at home, but it was another pick that drew some eyeballs.

The Tennessee Vols are hosting No. 1 Georgia at Neyland Stadium at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS and are a heavy underdog. But don’t tell Kiffin. He picked the Vols to pull the upset.

“(Georgia head coach) Kirby Smart called me this week,” Kiffin started. “He said, ‘What’s it like to play at Tennessee?’ I said, ‘It’s a very dangerous place.'”

It certainly wasn’t a friendly crowd when Ole Miss was there a month ago. Kiffin is always good to toss around at least one zinger.

Tennessee won’t have it easy against the nation’s best team. The Vols have lost 4 straight games to Georgia and 9 of the last 11 in the series.
