For the first time since 1992, the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl will be played without an SEC team involved.

The result?

Tickets are readily available.

Florida State and Houston will square off in the Georgia Dome on Dec. 31, and at the time this article was published, you could get into the game for as low as $17.99, according to ticket prices on StubHub.

Since becoming one of the “New Year’s Six” bowls last season as a part of the bowl realignment to accommodate the College Football Playoff, the SEC no longer has an official tie-in to the game.

Ole Miss played TCU in the game last season as a part of the new alignment, but there was no such luck for the Atlanta-based bowl this season.

SB Nation site Tomahawk Nation believes the prices are a result of the Seminoles’ opponent, which has struggled with attendance for most of the season in spite of a historical run for the Cougars.
