Jeff Brohm has turned around the Purdue program in his two short years in West Lafayette, but now his alma mater has come calling.

Much like Scott Frost left UCF after an undefeated season last year to return to Nebraska, his alma mater, Brohm now has the chance to do the same with Louisville. The Cardinals fired Bobby Petrino earlier this year.

On Tuesday, 247Sports reported that Brohm met with Louisville officials in Indiana, but that no decision has been made just yet:

Cardinal Authority confirmed the meeting took place in Central Indiana and has concluded. Multiple sources confirmed that no decision was made during the meeting and that a decision from Brohm could come by early Wednesday.

There have also been rumors connecting Mizzou coach Barry Odom to the Louisville job, but it seems the Cardinals have Brohm as their top priority.

Will he leave behind the work he’s done at Purdue for the dumpster fire at Louisville? Sounds like we’ll find out soon.
