Ric Flair has seemingly started some new beef, but not with a fellow wrestler.

The Nature Boy is instead calling out Paul Finebaum due to Finebaum’s stance on Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh and the ongoing sign-stealing saga. Finebaum has not shied away from calling out Michigan for its stealing of signs, and he doubled down on that this week by calling out Harbaugh for calling Michigan “America’s team.”

Flair blasted Finebaum on social media on Tuesday, calling him a “A Non-Athletic SEC Journalist” and saying that he should leave Harbaugh and Michigan alone. He also brought up Desmond Howard, who has been vocal in his support of Michigan, saying that Finebaum is foolish for trying to debate against Howard.

Finebaum didn’t hold back when he clapped back at Flair.

“Flair, in his Michigan fandom, is still chasing the success of the SEC as indicated by his behavior a couple of years ago with Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs,” Finebaum told AL.com. “I guess he is right about one thing: ‘If you want to be the man, you have to beat the man.’”
