SEC players are beginning their NFL journeys with many stars hearing their names called this weekend at the NFL Draft!

Coming out of Thursday, the SEC once again dominated the 1st round of picks with the most players selected. That group included No. 2 overall pick Jayden Daniels and some electric wide receiver prospects and 3 players apiece from LSU and Alabama.

Friday night, the SEC saw 8 more players selected in the NFL Draft, and it started quickly with Georgia’s Ladd McConkey coming off the board with the 2nd pick of the night. Outside of McConkey, the theme of the SEC players in the 2nd round was the defensive side of the ball.

A trio of SEC cornerbacks came off the board with 9 total defensive backs selected in the round. That gives the SEC 19 of the first 64 players selected in this year’s draft.
