Four SEC teams are hitting the road in Week 2, with Kentucky having to travel the farthest distance at 431 miles. Arkansas also hosts its annual game at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.

Here’s a look at this week’s SEC road trips, from longest to shortest:

Team Opponent Miles Traveled
Kentucky South Carolina 431
Georgia Vanderbilt 308
Missouri Arkansas State 298
LSU Mississippi State 285
Arkansas Toledo 189

Sweet Home Alabama: The Crimson Tide, which hosts Middle Tennessee State on Saturday, has four true road games this season — none in September. Bama’s first road trip of the season is to Oxford, Mississippi, where it will face Ole Miss on Oct. 3. Its next road game is on Oct. 17 against Arkansas, and its last two road matchups are in November against Mississippi State on 14th followed by the Iron Bowl at Auburn on the 28th.

Deep in the Heart of Texas: Not only does Texas A&M not have any road games in September, the Aggies don’t leave the Lone Star State until Oct. 24th, when they visit Ole Miss. They beat Arizona State last week in Houston in their season opener and they also face Arkansas in Arlington, Texas, on Sept. 26th.

Road Warriors: Only three SEC teams — Mississippi State, Missouri and LSU — have two road games in September. The Bulldogs, who won at Southern Miss last week, travel to Auburn on Sept. 26th. Mizzou which visits Arkansas State on Saturday, heads to Kentucky on Sept. 26th. The Bayou Bengals, who visit Starkville on Saturday, go to Syracuse — you guessed it — on Sept. 26th.

The Longest Yards: LSU’s jaunt to Syracuse later this month — a whopping 1,442 miles — is longer than Mississippi State’s and Missouri’s combined four road trips in September, which total 1,183 miles.
