WATCH: Dan Mullen, Derek Mason’s postgame handshake after explosive first-half exchange

There were lots of fireworks in the first half of Saturday’s game between the Florida Gators and Vanderbilt Commodores, with Dan Mullen and Derek Mason exchanging heated words.
After the game, though, the two coaches managed to put their earlier exchange aside.
As you can see below, the postgame handshake was cordial, with Mullen and Mason hugging and exchanging words. It even ends with a smile from both parties:

In his postgame interview, Mullen said he and Mason and close friends, so the first-half shouting match seemed to just be a heat-of-the-moment thing.
We’ll see how each coach addresses the incident in their postgame press conferences.
