One of the nation’s top defenders in the 2021 recruiting cycle has just updated his recruitment heading into the summer of his senior season.

Four-star Graceville, Fla., native Xavian Sorey announced on Friday that he is planning on playing his football in either the SEC or the ACC. The Southeastern Conference schools that landed in his top 10 are Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Outside the SEC, ACC programs Clemson, Miami and Florida State were all listed by the standout from Graceville High School.

The Florida native has also received an invite to participate in the 2021 Under Armour All-American Game when his high school career comes to an end.
