Big South Freshman of the Year transferring to South Carolina

After a standout year at Gardner-Webb, Jaylan Foster is moving from the Big South to the Southeastern Conference.
Foster announced Sunday on his Twitter account that he will be joining the South Carolina Gamecocks:

At Gardner-Webb, Foster recorded 45 total tackles, including 2.5 for loss, 5 interceptions and 2 fumble recoveries in his freshman season. Foster will sit out the 2017 season and have three years of eligibility remaining.
