Three-star outside linebacker Damani Staley has committed to South Carolina, per his Twitter account.

Staley is the son of former Gamecocks running back Duce Staley. The younger Staley, from Columbia, S.C., committed to USC over offers from East Carolina and Georgia Tech.
Staley’s rated as the No. 67 outside linebacker in the 2017 class, as well as the state’s No. 16 overall player, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
He recorded 22 sacks during his junior season, and he was named as The State’s Defensive Player of the Year.
