Jerell Adams: South Carolina QBs held me back
Jerell Adams and his former quarterbacks probably won’t be exchanging Christmas cards.
In a post-draft interview with New York Giants media, the former South Carolina tight end pointed to his South Carolina signal-callers as the reason he hasn’t fully developed at his position.
Jerell Adams to NYG media: "Honestly, I didn’t have the progress yet that I wanted at South Carolina because of the quarterback situation."

Adams was a sixth-round pick, No. 184 overall. Perhaps he thinks he could have been drafted higher had he played with better quarterbacks, but his criticism might be misplaced. Two of Adams’ former quarterbacks, Connor Shaw and Dylan Thompson, are on NFL rosters.
Jerell Adams played with two quarterbacks currently in the NFL 3 of his 4 years at South Carolina.
