South Carolina Gamecocks linebacker Jahmar Brown revealed Monday that he has decided to enter the transfer portal.
Brown made the announcement on Twitter:
Thank you Gamecock Nation, Coach Muschamp and Coach TRob for allowing me to come here and Coach Beamer for allowing me to be coached by him this season. Thank you Gamecock football for the lifelong memories made. After much prayer, I have decided to enter the Transfer Portal.

Brown so far this year has had 11 total tackles, 8 of them solo. He has been part of the team since 2019, so he’ll have one more year eligible left.
Brown’s biggest game this past year was when he had 5 tackles and 1 sack in a loss to Tennessee.
