South Carolina coach Will Muschamp has been quiet about who will start at quarterback for Saturday afternoon’s game against UMass.

Senior Perry Orth and freshman Brandon McIlwain have made starts for South Carolina already this season, but all signs point to a third quarterback getting the start Saturday.

However, freshman QB Jake Bentley is taking pregame snaps with starting C Alan Knott, which could be a big indication that the Gamecocks will make the switch to Bentley:
