Jimbo Fisher now has his first A&M quarterback signee to build around as James Foster II has picked the Aggies.

While there is already some quality talent in the QB room in College Station, there’s no doubt Fisher wanted to add another arm to the room that the Texas A&M coach identified as a fit for his offensive system. After beating back Alabama, LSU and Florida State for the Alabama native, the Aggies have their man.

Heading into National Signing Day, Foster was the highest-ranked uncommitted prospect in the nation at the QB position. 247Sports Composite Rankings have Foster as the nation’s No. 12 dual-threat QB in the nation and regard him as a four-star prospect. Foster had been a commit to Missouri during his senior season, but he decommit from the Tigers as his stock soar in his final prep season.
