NFL teams interested in A&M QB Trevor Knight's potential at another position
Former Texas A&M QB Trevor Knight’s NFL Combine was a mixed bag.
When it came to his measurables, particularly his speed, he impressed the scouts. He led all quarterbacks in multiple categories, including the 40-yard dash (4.54 seconds), vertical jump (35.5 inches) and broad jump (125 inches).

When it came time to show off his quarterback skills, it was a different story.
Jerod Evans rushing everything, Leidner lobbing throws, Kizer misfiring, Trevor Knight brutal…Bad session there

While his rough Saturday might have hurt his stock with some teams, others see an opportunity to put his speed and athleticism to use at the next level. It also doesn’t hurt that Knight is 6-foot-1, 219 pounds.
Trevor Knight: 6-1, 4.54, 35.5 vertical, 10-5 broad
Mohamed Sanu: 6-1, 4.54, 36 vertical, 10-6 broadWR conversion hype train starting now.

Am told that fmr #TAMU & #OU QB Trevor Knight–who ran a 4.54 40 in Indy at 6-1, 215–is also getting looks from NFL teams as a safety & WR.

It will be interesting to see where Knight lines up when he reports to rookie camp.
