Sports Radio 610 in Houston reports former Texas A&M quarterback Kyle Allen is considering 4-5 schools with Houston “probably the leader.” Allen reportedly met with Houston coach Tom Herman this weekend.

Allen was the first of two Texas A&M quarterback to announce his transfer this week. He played in 10 games, completing 56.5 percent of his passes for 2,210 yards and 17 touchdowns against seven interceptions. Allen was officially granted his release earlier this week.

He has returned to his hometown of Scottsdale, Ariz., Sports Radio 610 reports, to make a decision on his transfer. He has winnowed his list of schools down to Houston, Arizona, Arizona State and Oklahoma.

They also report Allen might consider transferring to FCS Stephen F. Austin, where he would not have to sit out a year and could play immediately.
