Heading into Week 9, it seemed Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin had the Aggies moving in the right direction.

However, the Mississippi State Bulldogs quickly put an end to any good feelings in College Station, stomping the Aggies 35-14 on Saturday night.

Now, the Aggies are 0-2 in SEC West home games this year, and their losing streak against division foes has gone on for a whopping 756 days:

Indeed, the Aggies’ last win against an SEC West team at home came on Oct. 3, 2015, against Mississippi State — a 30-17 victory.

The Aggies host Auburn in their last SEC West home game this year, so it looks as though that streak may approach three years before it comes to an end.

If Texas A&M struggles down the stretch, a new coach may be in place before this surprising streak comes to an end.
