No. 1 Alabama is currently a 17-point home favorite against No. 6 Texas A&M, not the kind of odds you’d expect between a pair of undefeated division rivals.
But being such a massive underdog hasn’t deterred the Aggies one bit. In fact, they’re using it for motivation, said sophomore receiver Christian Kirk on Tuesday.

Senior offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor echoed Kirk’s comments, saying the pressure of such a big game will only make Texas A&M play at a higher level.
Eluemunor: It's annoying to not be given a chance. They have great players, and it'll bring the best out of us on a great stage.

Eluemunor: I love my team. I know what this team can do. We worked hard to be 6-0. We've been counted out and haven't played the game yet.

The Crimson Tide (7-0, 4-0) has emerged as the national title favorites after bludgeoning an injury-depleted Tennessee squad last week, which might explain the huge point spread in its favor. The Aggies (6-0, 4-0) are hoping to do more than just cover the spread when they travel to Tuscaloosa for kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday on CBS.
