Kansas City Chiefs S Eric Berry, a former Tennessee Volunteer, is a huge part of the Chiefs’ defense, but he’s been unable to practice so far this week as the team has wrapped up OTAs.

Berry is dealing with a heel injury, but Chiefs coach Andy Reid said he’s not worried about Berry’s ability to return soon, according to KansasCity.com:

“I’m not too worried about that, no,” Reid said. “I think he’ll be all right.”

Last year, Berry recorded 62 tackles and snagged four interceptions, returning two for touchdowns. He also forced one fumble.

It’s still early in the offseason, as mandatory training camps haven’t even started yet, so Berry has plenty of time to get healthy.

The Chiefs will hope the ex-Vol is ready to go as the summer wears on.
