All signs seem to indicate that WR Jauan Jennings is back on Tennessee’s team.

On Monday, it was reported that Jennings was enrolled in classes for the start of the semester, but still, no one has confirmed officially whether Jennings is back on the team. He was dismissed by interim head coach Brady Hoke last November.

However, with the new coaching staff, it potentially gave Jennings another opportunity to win his way back on the team. New head coach Jeremy Pruitt was asked last week about the potential of Jennings returning.

“Obviously there has been some movement before I got here, I really had no control over that,” Pruitt said. “I know there’s a lot from you guys, you have to write about things but from my standpoint, I know Jauan has reached out to Coach Fulmer and I know they met. I actually reached out to him because I felt like Coach Fulmer talking to him, I should do that.

“There will be a time, probably in the next couple of days, me and him may possibly sit down and just kind of see where things are at.”

Jennings, whose Instagram account is private, posted the following picture with the description, “Vol Nation one last season ! Support has to be there like never before !!! If yur (sic) a #VFL…. #beaVFL!!”

Obviously, getting Jennings back would be a huge boost for Tennessee’s offense in 2018.
