Tennessee basketball fans are anxiously awaiting the new AP Top 25.

The Volunteers currently sit at No. 3, but are expected to move up as the only top-three squad with an undefeated week. No. 1 Duke fell to unranked Syracuse 95-91 on Monday night. The Blue Devils bounced back to end the week on a high note, though, beating No. 4 Virginia 72-70 Saturday. Also on Saturday, No. 2 Michigan suffered its first loss of the season, falling 64-54 to a six-loss Wisconsin team. UT, meanwhile, took care of business against Arkansas on Tuesday and Alabama on Saturday.

So who should be No. 1: Duke (15-2) or Tennessee (16-1)? ESPN’s Dick Vitale gives the nod to the Vols. Vitale says UT’s 12-game winning streak and only loss to Kansas gives it a slight edge over Duke despite Coach K’s squad recent win over the No. 4 team.

They’ll be partying on Rocky Top if other voters are thinking like Vitale.
