Jeremy Pruitt provides latest update on QB Jarrett Guarantano's health
The Tennessee Volunteers have a mess at the quarterback position, and it doesn’t seem to be getting much better as we head into the final stretch of the 2020 season.
Starter Jarrett Guarantano has been ineffective and banged up. Brian Maurer and Harrison Bailey haven’t gotten much work in a backup role, either.
On Wednesday evening, coach Jeremy Pruitt provided an update on Guarantano’s health. He said the starter is back to being 100% healthy:
Jeremy Pruitt on if Jarrett Guarantano is back to being 100 percent: "Jarrett is back. I think he's had a good couple of days here getting back into the groove."

That’s good news for the Vols heading into this weekend’s game against a tough Auburn squad.
Guarantano has thrown for 953 yards, 6 touchdowns and 3 interceptions for the Vols thus far in 2020.
