Josh Heupel got to stay dry after Tennessee’s Citrus Bowl win.

Cheez-It is the title sponsor of the Citrus Bowl, so Heupel was treated to a “Cheez-It bath” as the final seconds ticked off the clock instead of having a cooler of sports drink dumped on him.

Many bowl games are getting in on the alternate “bath” fun. The Duke’s Mayo Bowl helped popularize the idea with its “mayo bath,” which went to West Virginia’s Neal Brown this year. The Famous Idaho Potato Bowl does a “french fry bath.” USC’s Lincoln Riley was on the receiving end of the Holiday Bowl’s first “egg nog bath” last week.

The Cheez-It bath may become the most popular among coaches as they don’t have to get messy.

Heupel and the Vols have lots to celebrate as they leave Orlando and head back to Rocky Top. With Nico Iamaleava making his first start, UT blew out a 10-win squad known for an elite defense 35-0. Speaking of defense, the Vols pitched a shoutout while adding a pick-6 from James Pearce.
