Tennessee did a solid job improving its decimated 2018 recruiting class during the early signing period, bringing its rank to No. 8 in the SEC and No. 26 nationally.

However, with only 12 players signed to letters of intent at the moment, and with only four other hard commits, there’s still plenty of work for new coach Jeremy Pruitt to do before February.

According to new AD Phillip Fulmer, the Vols still have needs along both sides of the line of scrimmage, and he told Rivals.com that he would like to see the team target defensive and offensive linemen:

Six of the 12 players Tennessee signed this week play offensive or defensive line, so it is a bit interesting to hear Fulmer say they still need more linemen.

However, having depth at those positions is very important, so the Vols will try to stock up as they move forward under their new coach.
