Quinten Dormady, a former Tennessee QB playing in the XFL, was cut from his team, the Orlando Guardians, after an investigation into him leaking the team’s playbook to another team.
Don Kleiman reported that he allegedly gave an opposing team plays from the Guardians playbook. The team heard about it, investigated and released Dormady. They also removed his stats from the XFL website.
The league also released a statement that said additional information was brought to the league overnight and it reinstated him while it conducts a formal investigation.
Dormady spent 3 seasons at Tennessee, first as Josh Dobbs’ backup for 2seasons before he earned the starting job in 2017. He eventually lost the starting job to Jarrett Guarantano.
