Tennessee RB Jalen Hurd is not expected to play Saturday at Texas A&M, according to a new report.

John Brice of GoVols247 is reporting that Hurd did not practice Thursday according to sources. Brice further went on to say that Hurd, who has not posted the numbers many expected this season, is not in the dog house or being benched. Numerous people have told Brice that the starting running back is dealing with an upper-body injury.

On Thursday, Tennessee coach Butch Jones told 104.5 in Nashville that Hurd would be a game-time decision.

The No. 9 Vols and No. 8 Aggies are set to face off in College Station at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
