Rick Barnes rips Tennessee's 'pathetic' effort in first half against Vanderbilt
Tennessee and Vanderbilt are tied 28-28 at halftime of Tuesday night’s rivalry game in Knoxville.
But, after hearing Tennessee coach Rick Barnes’ halftime interview with the SEC Network and reporter Alyssa Lang, you’d think the Vols were down by 20.
Barnes ripped Tennessee players for not respecting the game, calling out some bad passes the Vols made while committing 6 first-half turnovers.
Rick Barnes’s evaluation of Tennessee’s offense in first half vs Vandy: “Pathetic because it’s ridiculous we don’t respect the game more. Some of the passes we were trying to throw were ridiculous. Just ridiculous.” — talking to @AlyssaLang on @SECNetwork

Last time these 2 teams played, back on Jan. 18 in Nashville, Tennessee only led 21-20 at halftime. Then, the Vols exploded for 45 points in the second half to win 66-45. Will we see a similar second half this time around? Tune in to the SEC Network to find out!
