The Tennessee Volunteers will face the unenviable task of trying to replace talented punter Trevor Daniel next year.
In order to bring some competition into spring practices, the Vols have added a JUCO punter to the mix as a preferred walk-on.
As you can see in the tweet below, East Mississippi Community College punter Grayson Pontius announced on Thursday that he was joining the Vols for the 2018 season:

Pontius has had a roller coaster college career so far, starting his career at EMCC in 2015 before transferring to Marshall in 2016. He then returned to EMCC this year and will now be heading to Knoxville in 2018.
Whether he can land the starting job next season remains to be seen, but the Vols will have some options on special teams.
