The Tennessee Volunteers suffered a big loss on the recruiting trails on Sunday, as one of their top 2019 recruits flipped to Michigan.

According to his Twitter bio, 4-star 2019 ATH Te’Cory Couch is now a Michigan commit after being committed to the Vols since June of last year.

ESPN recruiting reporter Tom VanHaaren confirmed Couch’s decision to move north via Twitter on Sunday afternoon:

According to the 247Sports composite, Couch is the No. 27 athlete in the class of 2019 and the No. 46 overall recruit from the state of Florida.

Following Couch’s departure, the Vols only have four players in their 2019 class, which currently ranks No. 11 in the SEC and No. 39 nationally, per 247Sports.
