The Tennessee Volunteers will kick off the SEC season on Thursday night, hosting Bowling Green out of the MAC.
On Monday, Josh Heupel met with the media. As part of that, the Vols’ depth chart for the Week 1 matchup was released.
Joe Milton, the transfer from Michigan, was named the starting quarterback. Below, you can see how the rest of the depth chart stacks up:

The positions where there are co-starters listed are tight end (Jacob Warren and Princeton Fant), running back (Tiyon Evans and Jabari Small), kicker (Chase McGrath and Toby Wilson) and defensive end (Tyler Baron and Byron Young).
We’ll have to see on Thursday night which guys get the first-team reps at those positions.
