Official Torchbearer: Trey Smith given Tennessee's highest student honor
Trey Smith is officially a Tennessee Torchbearer.
While his time at Tennessee has come to an end, the accolades continue to pile up for the offensive lineman from West Tennessee.
Chancellor Donde Plowman recently revealed to Smith that he has been named an official Torchbearer at Tennessee. Being named a Torchbearer is the highest honor a student can receive at the school.
Tennessee defines Torchbearers as seniors who serve the school with overall excellence, with high academic standing, and a commitment to the community such as volunteer work and other activities that help contribute to the area.
Tennessee recently shared a video of Smith finding out he has been named a Torchbearer:
